Marine Science Exploration
Our mission is to help students gain scientific knowledge, a greater appreciation of their local salt water eco-systems and a better understanding of who they are, as they fit themselves into an exciting peer discovery team. The "hands-on" "minds-on" educational programs offered on First Light provide an integrated learning experience through academic tasks in math and science which become meaningful and relevant to the student in the maritime context.
